Pyramids were incredibly expensive and consistently looted by grave-robbers. The Pharaohs wanted to try to create a place that would be less susceptible to grave robbers and would not necessarily cost as much.

Pharaohs were supposed to be good rulers, however they were now buried in hidden tombs to prevent them from being robbed. The third kingdom was the New Kingdom. It lasted from 1500 BC - 1000 BC. Egypt expanded during this time, by expanding borders and becoming a world power. Pharaohs were the absolute rulers and were buried in the Valley of Kings.

they had many diffrent things During the Middle Kingdom, more people became merchants and craftspeople. Old Kingdom, there were two levels: kings (pharaoh) and farmers. During the New Kingdom, began to refer the king as a god-king or pharaoh which means "great house."
