Why did we the people fight in world war 2?

It depends on who 'we' are.

Millions fought in World War 2, each having has his or her own reason(s) for fighting.

Sometimes 'we' fight...

1. in self-defense.
2. to gain possession of another's territory or assets.
3. because of the belief that the future for ourselves and/or our children and family would be better if 'we' fight than it would if we do not.
4. out of a sense of loyalty, or
5. for the sake of honor.

And sometimes 'we' fight because someone else tells or commands us to.

Millions died in World War 2, civilians, soldiers and children.

If none had fought, none would have died.
