* Often this happens to young couples. Youth flies by in the blink of an eye and the ideals of youth change often and suddenly. This is the time to fly free and to chase your dreams whether it be a career, traveling, etc. She needs the space to find out what she wants out of life and for her future. The young women of today are leaning more towards more independence than commitments in relationships (not all, but many) and at least she's honest with you. Respect her wishes and let her know you understand, but of course, you will be getting on with your life and back out into the dating circuit. If she is meant to be with you then she will be and if not, she was never the one for you. Since youth comes and goes so quickly it would be a good idea for you to make plans on not settling into a serious relationship right now and decide what you want to do in your life while you are still free to do it.
