Because Simba told Scar that "No, Scar. I'm not like you" when Scar asked him if he is going to kill him towards the end of the film indicating that Simba didn't kill Scar because Simba does not want to be a murderer.

What are the Main events of the Lion King movie?

The most essential events in the story are: Baby Simba's blessing ceremony after his birth, Simba's uncle Scar revealing and singing about that he's going to kill the king and the prince (as in his own brother Mufasa and nephew Simba) in order to become the king and his attempt to kill them both at once by tricking little Simba into a stampede of wildebeest and fetching Mufasa to save the child. Mufasa manages to save Simba but Scar still manages to kill Mufasa. Simba finds his father's body and Scar blames the death on the child's existence and manipulates him to believe that Simba's mother wouldn't understand, and into exile. (Simba had practiced his roar earlier and at one point it echoed mightily in the canyon he was in, and at that very moment the stampede stirred. Scar was aiming at this so that Simba would blame himself. In fact, Scar stirred the stampede with three hyenas.) Later dying Simba is rescued by Timon and Pumbaa and the child starts to live with them. Years later the grown up Simba is found by his childhood friend Nala and told about how his uncle Scar has destroyed the kingdom and everyone are starving. The following night Simba is visited by his father's ghost who tells him he must take his place as the rightful king. Simba returns to his home and challenges his uncle Scar for the throne and though Scar tries to win by revealing to everyone that it was Simba's fault that Mufasa died, he makes the mistake of revealing to Simba that in fact he, Scar, killed Mufasa. Then he has to tell it to everyone and after a final battle, Simba wins and takes his place as the rightful king. At the very end they show Simba and Nala's cub being presented to the Pridelands the way Simba was at the beginning of the film. According to the film makers in 1995 and 2003 on the Laserdisc and DVD's commentary track, this cub doesn't have real name and gender in its own film but the official sequel made it a girl named Kiara.

Summary for The Lion King:The song, "Circle of Life" is playing...Mufasa, the king of the pride lands, and his wife, Sarabi, have a new born lion cub that is named Simba. At the ceremony, Rafiki, a wise baboon, introduces Simba by holding him up so all of the other animals will honor Simba, the future king. The scene cuts to Scar, Mufasa's younger brother who wishes he was king. The scene goes on to show that Scar catches a mouse to eat but plays with his food instead. Zazu, a dodo that is a helper towards Mufasa, tells Scar not to play with his food. Scar then tries to eat Zazu and puts him in his mouth. Mufasa's voice comes in telling Scar to drop Zazu. Mufasa and Scar have a little chat about Scar not being at the ceremony. It turns into a little argument then Scar leaves with a suspicious look on his face.On a new day, Simba wants Mufasa to show him the lands and explain to him that he will be king someday. Afterwards, Simba goes to visit his Uncle Scar when Scar tells Simba not to go to the elephant graveyard where the hyenas live. But that's exactly what Scar wants him to do. Simba goes back to where all of the other lionesses are to tell his best friend, Nala, to come see a cool place. It's alright with Sarabi and Sarafina, Nala's mother, as long as Zazu goes with them. Disappionted, Nala and Simba find a way to ditch the dodo. Zazu and Simba have a little chat about Simba being the future king. Simba then sings, "I Just Can't Wait To Be King"...Nala and Simba ditch Zazu and make it to the elephant graveyard. Unfortunatley, Simba makes the hyenas mad so the hyenas chase the cubs. The two young cubs come to a dead end. Simba tries his best roar to scare away the hyenas but his roar is a little weak. The hyenas laugh and ask him to do it again. Right when Simba roars, a louder, stronger roar overlaps Simba's roar which make the hyenas confused. It turns out to be Mufasa who scares away the hyenas. Mufasa is very furious with Simba because he told Simba never to go the graveyard so he takes him and Nala home.Simba and Mufasa have a little discussion about dangerous things and it turns into a little chat about being king. The scene cuts to Scar and the hyenas. They all have a discussion on how Scar should be king so they think up a plan to kill Mufasa and Simba. Scar then sings, "Be Prepared"...Scar and the hyenas plan out a way to kill Simba. Scar takes Simba to a gorge where there is hardly any escape for a young cub. Scar says he has a surprise and leaves Simba by himself. After a while, Simba hears loud stomping a sees a stampede coming towards him. He starts running for his life. The scene cuts to Scar seeming afraid and telling Mufasa that there is a stampede in the gorge and Simba is down there. Mufasa and Zazu race to save Simba. When they get there, Simba is holding onto a low tree branch. Mufasa saves Simba. When Mufasa is trying to climb up the rocky hill he cries for Scar to help him. Scar grabs Mufasa's paws, and whispers "Long...live...the king..." into Mufasa's ear then lets go of his paws. Mufasa falls into the stampede and gets killed.Scar then tells Simba to run far, far away and never come back. As well as he tells the hyenas to kill Simba. Once again, Simba runs for his life. Fortunately, Simba gets away while Banzai, a hyena, gets nicknamed, "Cactus-Butt" for have cactus needles stuck in his butt while trying to kill Simba. The scene cuts to Simba fainted in the middle of nowhere when a warthog named, Pumbaa, and a meerkat named, Timon save him and provide him with shelter, food, and water. Timon and Pumbaa teach Simba the motto " Hakuna Matata" meaning "no worries". Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba all sing, "Hakuna Matata"... The scene shows Simba growing up into an adult while living with Timon and Pumbaa. The scene cuts back to the pride lands where Scar is seems to be king and is announcing Simba and Mufasa's death. The lionesses are unhappy. The scene then cuts to Timon and Pumbaa singing, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" when Pumbaa sees a bug and follows it, leaving Timon singing by himself. While Pumbaa is about to catch the bug he hears something. He looks and it is a lioness trying to kill him. Right when the lioness is about to kill Pumbaa, Simba comes into the scene and fights with the lioness. The lioness turns out to be Nala. Simba and Nala have alone time to catch up on things since they havn't seen each other in a long time. The song, "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" is playing...Then, Simba and Nala have a chat when Simba forgets that he has to take responsibility to be king. It turns into a fight when Simba runs away from Nala to think about the motto "Hakuna Matata" which reminds him that there is "no worries" and he doesn't have any responsibility. Rafiki comes into the scene. Simba doesn't know who Rafiki is but Rafiki, knowing who Simba is, tells Simba he knows Mufasa. Simba doesn't believe Rafiki but Rafiki proves it by showing Simba his reflection in the water if he looks really hard. Rafiki then tells Simba, "He lives in you" Simba then realizes that he does have responsibility and returns to the pride lands. The scene cuts to Nala asking Timon and Pumbaa if they know where Simba went and Rafiki tells Nala that the king "has returned". Timon and Pumbaa are confused so Nala explains that, "Simba has gone back to challenge his uncle to take his place as king".When Simba returns, he has to come up with a plan to distract the hyenas so he can get to Scar. So Timon and Pumbaa, "create a diversion" and sing "The Hula Song". The hyenas get distracted and chase Timon and Pumbaa while Nala rallies up the lionesses. Scar tells Simba to tell everyone the truth. Living his whole life thinking that he was responsible for Mufasa's death, Simba says that he murdered his own father which is not true. Right before Scar lets go, Simba jumps on top of Scar choking him and screams, "MURDERER!" and forces Scar to tell everyone the real truth that Scar is the murderer and is responsible for Mufasa's death. The lionesses and hyenas fight. When Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed and all of the other hyenas find out that Scar was just using them, they kill Scar.Simba then assumes his rightful place...to be King. What is the subject of the movie The Lion King?

Readers digest version: The story is about a lion named Simba who fights his evil uncle Scar to reclaim the throne that was stolen from his murdered father Mufasa. Long explanation: MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!! The Lion King is Disney's remake of Shakespeare's Hamlet. It tells the tale of a young Lion called Simba, who dreams of when he will one day take over the pride and become King of the "pride lands." His father Mufasa is the current King and along with his Queen Sarabi they lead the pride lands in a time of plenty. But Mufasa has an evil brother named Scar who wants the Kingship for himself. So he allies himself with the hyenas, enemies of the lions, to try and take over. He comes up with a plan to destroy Simba, but Mufasa saves his son and his sons friend Nala just in time. Scar, not to be defeated, then comes up with a better plan to rid himself of both Simba AND Mufasa. He manages to kill Mufasa and convince Simba that it is his fault. He tells Simba that he must run away. Simba, filled with guilt, does what his Uncle asks. Simba runs to an oasis where he meets Timon the meerkat and Pumba the warthog. They teach him that a life without worries is the only way to go. He grows up in the company of the two oddballs and seems to forsake his roots altogether. One day, Simba saves Pumba from a lioness who was on the hunt. Only to discover that the lioness is his old friend Nala! Nala informs him of the terrible conditions of his home under the reign of King Scar, she reminds him that he had a responsibility to his pride and that he is the rightful King. Simba, still thinking that he killed his father, refuses to return and tells Nala to mind her own business. Simba then meets an old monkey who takes him on a journey to speak with the spirit of his father and tells him that he needs to learn from his past, not run from it. Mufasa's spirit scolds Simba for forgetting his roots and refusing his responsibilities. Simba finally comes to terms with what happened and decides to return. With the help of his friends, he forms a plan to recapture his Kingship. When he reaches the pride lands and confronts scar. Scar tricks him into confessing that he killed his father, which devastates the lionesses, especially Sarabi. But when Scar tries to kill him in the same way his father was killed, he informs Simba that it was he who killed Mufasa. Simba flashes back to the death and realizes that it's true. He then forces Scar to confess to everyone what really happened. When the truth finally comes out an all out battle ensues between the hyenas and the pride. Scar and Simba fight each other until it looks like Simba is going to kill Scar. Scar begs for his life and Simba grants it, but tells him to leave and never return. Scar attacks again and Simba throws him off a cliff where he is eaten by the angry hyenas. Simba claims the pride as his own and with Nala at his side, the land returns to a time of peace.

On the lion king 2 simba's pride...What did zazu mean by back stabbing murderous outsiders Do it have something to do with simba's son kopa?

No. Kopa is never mentioned in Simba's Pride. What Zazu means is that the Outsiders are lionesses and cubs and a teenage lion that were originally in the Pride Lands until they got banned from the Pride Lands by Simba because they still represented Scar after the Hyenas got mad in the first film and killed him, and so Simba got really mad and banned them since they were on the enemies side. And backstabbing means someone is betraying, gossiping, lying and/or cheating on you so the Outsiders used to be apart of the group until they betrayed Simba and was still wanting Scar to keep on being King. And murderous means that they kill people. For example, the leader of the Outsiders wants Kovu to kill Simba for killing Scar even though the real victims were the Hyenas. You see in the first film, Simba was telling him to never return and then they got in a fight and Scar eventually fell off the cliff and the Hyena's got mad and attacked him for lying about them coming up with the idea of killing Mufasa, the lion who looks just like Simba as an adult but got killed in the first movie thanks to Scar.

Why was Kovu exiled?

Kovu himself was not exiled, but he was just a tiny little cub, or possibly not born yet, when Zira was exiled.

What are the conflicts of the Lion King movie?

The story is about a king lion, named Mufasa, who has a son who, when he grows up, will be the new king. A wise old baboon, Rafiki, holds the cub high. Time passes and the infant is a playful cub. Simba, the cub, can't wait to be king. On the other hand, Scar, Mufasa's younger brother, wants to be king and take over the Pridelands. (Firstborn is the king.) He and his stupid hyena henchmen, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, think up plans to kill Mufasa and Simba. Scar tricks Simba, his best friend Nala, and Zazu (the bird majordomo) into going beyond the boundaries, where they meet the hyenas. They get chased until Mufasa comes and scares them away. Scar thinks up another plan which is no escape for Simba or Mufasa, scaring a huge wildebeest herd! Mufasa saves Simba from his death but the hyenas and Scar successfully kill Mufasa, which upsets Sarabi, his mate, very much. Scar orders his hyenas to chase Simba and kill him, but Simba escapes into sharp thornbushes. The stupid hyenas don't follow him. Simba runs on the horizon to escape. Scar claims himself new king. Simba is left on the hot African plains where he faints, and is rescued by a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa. Simba is forced to eat bugs and grubs for meals. He accepts, but still thinks it's gruesome. After that, time passes, and he grows into a young lion. One day, Pumbaa is chased by a hungry young lioness and gets caught in a fallen tree root. Simba fights with the lioness, realizes it's Nala, his best friend. The lions rejoice, and soon fall in love. After that, Nala tells Simba that Scar has taken over the Pridelands and turned it gray and lifeless. (He has caught Zazu and trapped him in a ribcage.) Simba says he can't go back, but Nala insists. Simba gets mad and turns away from her. Rafiki, the wise mysical baboon follows Simba and shows him that his father lives in him. Simba goes back to the Pridelands to fight. Meanwhile, Timon, Pumbaa, and Nala hear from Rafiki, saying that the King has returned. They follow Simba into the Pridelands. Simba tells Timon and Pumbaa to distract the hyenas (there are thousands of them) and Nala to search for the lionesses. Simba looks for his uncle. He finds him and tells him to step down. Scar wants Simba to tell the lionesses who was responsible for Mufasa's death. Simba doesn't remember what really happened, so he claims that he killed his father. Scar said he admits it as a murderer. Simba said it was an accident. Scar ambushes Simba and has him dangle at the edge of a cliff, over flames. Scar whispers to Simba that he, himself, killed Mufasa. The memory soon comes back to Simba. He gathers his strength and knocks Scar down. He insists that Scar tells the truth. Scar does, and the lionesses rush toward the hyenas and fight. Simba is covered in biting hyenas. After he frees himself, he looks for his uncle. He chases him up a cliff and fights with him. He hurtles Scar over the edge, where he is killed by his hyenas. (They misheard him because he called them family, but they heard it enemy.) The rains wash away the fire. Zazu was freed by Timon and Pumbaa. Simba is claimed to king, with Queen Nala. Rafiki holds their cub up high, just like Simba.
