because a volcano blew up and turned everyone into ashes
They don't. That's right, people don't live in Pompeii any more. The better question here is: How "did" people make a living in Pompeii.
He treats everyone equally and loves each ofus for who we are. He fed 5,000 people bread so they could survive..... they didnt have any food to survive on!
Pompeii doesn't have any importance to Australia, except for people who are archaeologists and interested in travelling over there.
We don't know how many people escaped Pompeii before the eruption. We don't know the population of Pompeii, so any estimation of the deaths or the escapees is pure guess work, not solid fact.We don't know how many people escaped Pompeii before the eruption. Pompeii did not affect people in any particular way. It was just an ordinary Roman town. It was mount Vesuvius which affected people. It erupted in 79, covered the town with ash and killed its inhabitants.
We don't know how many people survived because we don't have a head count of how many people lived in Pompeii or in the surrounding area. The city of Pompeii was forgotten because after the eruption and subsequent burial by the volcanic debris, the place was unlivable. The people who escaped sent their servants back to try and rescue any of their possessions that they could and the looters moved in. Then it was simply ignored. People who lived at the time remembered it but when they died out all memory of Pompeii was forgotten.
They do not know the population of Pompeii. Any figures given out are just estimates as there were no population records for the town. They do not know the population of Pompeii. Very few people survived the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Pompeii was buried under four to six metres of volcanic ash.
I'd say no. I don't see how the ancient, formerly lost, Italian city of Pompeii, has any bearing on Guide Dogs. I have not found any reports suggesting a Guide Dog was recovered in the ruins.
