Krakow was occupied by many Jew's, who kept hygiene, and this slowed the spread of the plague, especially since they did not drink from the infected wells.
Milan
The largest area where the Black Death did not hit was parts of what are now Poland, Belarus, and the Ukraine. There was an area around Milan where the Black Death did not strike. It also did not get into the Pyrenees much. I have read that there were a number of towns where the Black Death did not hit in other places, including a large walled town in England where the gates were closed and the drawbridge raised, with the town treating the situation as though they were under siege. Unfortunately I cannot cite a source on this, as it was a long time ago that I read it. There is a link below to an animated map showing the spread of the Black Death in Europe.
Milan, Genoa, Venice, and Florence
The Black Death spread through Italy from south to north in 1348. In some places it remained as late as 1352. In the north of Italy, around Milan, the outbreak is said to have been not as bad or long as it was elsewhere.
Unholy single target: Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Scourge Strike, Blood Strike, Scourge strike, Death Coil, Horn of Winter, then from this point just use whatever's ready from death coil, scourge strike and blood strike, get a glyph of disease, and whenever your diseases are almost over use pestilence. Unholy AoE: Death & Decay, Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Pestilence, then from this point just use whatever's ready from death coil, scourge strike and blood strike, get a glyph of disease, and whenever your diseases are almost over use pestilence. Blood: Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Blood Strike, Death Strike, Death Strike, then whenever you have death runes or blood runes use Blood Strike, whenever you have a frost rune and an unholy rune use death strike, once again you want glyph of disease, and keep the diseases up with pestilence.
