Why different characters in hsm4?

Well, in hsm 3 the original gang goes off to college i have heard rumors of hsm 4 college years but it was conformed that the original cast will not be in hsm 4 sadly :(. Some other rumors say that Selena Gomez will be in it. and from the looks of hsm 3 rocket boy, his sidekick, and that girl from London will be in it. truthfully i am very sad that they will be having different characters. side note: hsm 4 might have a different director/choreographer i think his name is Jeffrey Hornaday, the movie is called hsm4 east meets west about the rivalry between the east high wildcats and the west high nights (the first couple of minutes in hsm3 KINDA explains the rivalry), and that hsm4 will be on Disney channel in fall 2010.

I highly doubt it, since all the characters graduated in hsm3. But the new characters that appeared in hsm3 may star in a hsm4, with sharpay returning to help with the drama department. But they are saying that its even unlikely for a hsm4. But how are we to know? We didn't make the movies! We'll have to wait and see if anymore come out.
