Why dinosaur is not exist nowadays?

Dinosaurs do not exist today because an asteroid hit the earth 65 million years ago. It threw a lot of dirt and dust up into the air that sunlight became dim. A lot of plants could not get enough light and died. The animals that ate those plants died. The dinosaurs that ate those plant eating animals died. All the dinosaurs died.

Some plants and animals survived. Some plants lived on the forest floor. They were used to getting by with little light. Some seeds were used to staying alive for years until conditions became right for them to grow. Small birds survived. Small mammals survived. Insects survived. Fresh water fish survived. In salt water many animals did not survive, some did. Chalk producing coral did not survive, reef producing coral survived. It goes on.
