Amazons are hormonal birds. The phermones they excrete are responsible in keeping their mates attracted. Birds do not have a sense of smell like humans. We smell the phermones they put out. You can almost tell your Amazon parrots breeding cycle by the way their breath smells. Mine tends to get a little sweet and musty when it is that "time" of year. Either way they are amazing creatures.
The baby's breath was sweet and smelled of milk. The roses were arranged with baby's breath.
Parrots are attuned to bright coloured objects. They are attracted to bright flowers, which often contain sweet nectar which the parrots enjoy, but caged birds also like brightly coloured toys in their cages.
A cachou is a sweet taken to sweeten the breath.

It's a part of evolution. Babies are sweet smelling to encourage being held/cared for. Hence increasing the likelihood of survival.

Animals, including parrots, should not be fed fatty and sweet foods such as cake. However, a few crumbs now and again will not hurt.

Because it is sweet and to most people it smells good. It is caused by the mother's milk and after a long period of time when the puppies keep drinking it, their breath starts to smell like the milk. unfortuenetly the sweet smell of puppy breath does not last forever it goes away after a few weeks, when you started to feed your puppy some dog food which is why adult dogs have horrible smelling breath. Also another thing is puppies, they have less bactiria in their mouths and are cleaner then an adult dogs mouth.
