It's not accurate to say they "hate" him, but some do not agree with his methods. Some trainers believe Cesar Milan is too harsh with the dogs; and others believe he makes it seem like if you follow his method, your dog will be perfect-- there is no magical method for training a dog, and while some of Cesar's techniques may be useful, his shows (like all TV shows) are heavily edited, so you only see his successes, and not the cases where he failed or where it took a long time to win the dog over.
