  • I Don't know much about foxes but it could be due to the COLD ARCTIC temperatures it comes from kinda like black people after a long time of a certain species living in a place they adapt . THe were no Racial intentions in that sentence

Arctic Hares get a white coat in the Winter and a brown one in the Spring to camouflage them and protect them from predators. They also have huge feet that help them stay on top of the snow.

to keep them warm because they live in cold environments almost all the time. without a dense coat of fur they will freeze to death
