Sonic does deal the first hit when the final boss (Tabuu) readies one of his attacks, but is interupted when a blue ball smashes into his wings twice, which happens to be when Sonic first appears. If you decide to use Sonic and beat Tabuu with Sonic, then yes. Otherwise, no. The only solid fact of this is that Sonic dealt the first hit.- Hametsu
