Because sometimes you are too nice and are concerned more about other people's relationships and are not looking into your own well being and needs. You may also not know what you really want for yourself. Seeing what other's need in the dating realm and being able to give them advice, because you can see their needs and problems from the outside, but you are unable to see yours. If you have someone close to you that lets you in on your good and bad qualities they may be able to give you what advice you actually need.
