Look for leaking window or door seals, especially if it has been raining.
I think its behind the plastic on the back passenger side. Between the cargo glass and the passenger side back seat door glass.

Back passenger side of engine.
There is a problem with the SRS. This should still be under warranty. Take it back to your GM dealer for repair.

I have a 03 silverado and the jack is under the back seat on the passenger side
On a 2002 Protege5, it's on the front 'slope' of passenger-side floor.... where your feet would rest if you put them all the way forward. In the '5', you have to take the 'kick guard' plastic off the front-passenger-side of the center console, then peal back the floor carpet. There is the big-ass silver cover/guard protecting it. Not sure if your car would be exactly the same.
If your vehicle has a sunroof, the drain tube may have popped out of it's outlet. This tube runs down inside the roof support on the passenger side of the windshield, running down just in front of the passenger door behind some plastic. I have a 2003 XRS. It had a really musty smell that we traced to the front passenger side carpet. When I pulled the carpet back, it was dripping wet. The air conditioner drain hose had pulled away from the firewall and was draining into the floor pan. I replaced the tube into the hole and have not had any trouble since.
Usually in the Passenger side Rear quarter panel in the back of this vehicle.
THE OIL FILTER ON MY 2003 KIA RIO IS LOCATED ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE ENGINE JUST OFF TO THE PASSENGER SIDE...
The battery is located in the back seat - you take out the back seat by pulling up from the floor - then lift out - the battery in on the passenger side.
