Why do I have the same nightmare about my teacher trying to kill me and I don't even know him The dream is under discussion?

After reading the description of the dream on the "Discussion" page, it seems to be a "what if" dream. The subconscious mind presents a problematic scenario for the dreamer to solve. Apparently this dream occurred at least twice, with the dreamer trying a different solution each time. The purpose of such dreams - whether remembered or not - seems to be a sort of practice for real life problem solving.
