Christianity erupted when Jesus Christ was alive. And because of this, their beliefs are more based onto Jesus Christ and God and about spreading their religion. Judaism is more traditional than Christianity and was originally believed to be only for Jews. The greatest reason why the two religions have different views is because the Jews never acknowledged Christ. That changes almost everything, even their Sabbath days is not on the same day. Jews are very strict on a similar law in both religions. This law is saying that there shall be no work during the Sabbath day. In Judaism, there is something called 39 categories of melakhahwhere there are 39 kinds of work that are prohibited. One of these include cooking. However, cooking is allowed in Christianity. Many of the Jewish customs are from very long ago many from their Holy Book, the Torah, while Christians get their beliefs from The Bible.
True Christians do not hate Jews. Nominal Christians may hate them because they are a different religion.
