does venerate mean respected or...why do muslims accept and Beleive in Jesus ....if so it is because jesus is the prophet of Allah the creator of heaven and earth.Virgin Mary was blessed with a child named jesus that allah granted her ordering the child to be born while Mary remains virgin and allah had plans for Jesus before he was even ordered to be born by the virgin Mary and his dutys was to preach about the one and only god and gods commandments as jesus never once said I am god,he preached good behaviour and kindness and Jesus did have healing powers and supernatural powers as it is always described it is his lord that gave him all the power to be able to have them in which Jesus always preached to pray always to god just as he does which will turn to awards to be enter heaven when life is done.as a prophet of Allah a prophet is always protected and no harm will ever happen to him under Allahs orders of duty as prophets therefore when the time came for the crucifixion,,,,as god is the all knower of the past present and future Allah told Jesus to pick a willing volenteer without force to look like himself as Jesus to be crucified and that person will be promised instant heaven regardless of sins or how bad the sins were...it's all to protect the prophets.allah promises no harm to any prophet and Jesus will come back on judgement day and the people who thought they killed him will look like fools
