More visual, more content, more advanced. Computers will allways need more engine as the technology advance.
Officially, Windows Vista needs a minimum of 512 MB of RAM, and 1 GB or more is recommended. Unofficially, people have run Vista on as little as 192 MB of RAM, although this performed too poorly to be of any actual use.
To use windows aero in vista operating system 512 mb of ram is required
If you are asking if you can run Windows Vista on 256 MB of RAM, then yes. However, the Windows installer will not allow you to install on 256 MB of RAM without a patch. If you are asking if you can use Vista on a computer using 256 MB memory modules, then yes.
It depends on your operating system, windows 7 and vista 64bit will use as much ram as possible while windows xp has a max of 3.25gb of ram. 2gb is reccomended with any thing other than xp. While on my system with 4gb of ram, it will use about 1.5gb.
The Compaq Presario 2170 did not include enough RAM by default (only 256 MB) to run Windows Vista. The system can be upgraded to 1 GB of RAM and then run Vista. The graphics chipset also does not have any WDDM drivers available, so you will be unable to use Aero.
One of the more notable ways Windows 7 uses RAM differently is its applicatoin of Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR). ASLR is a great security improvement to operating systems in which all data stored into RAM by a -supported- application is placed in random locations within the RAM bank. That way it is harder for viruses and malware of the sort to corrupt or otherwise compromise the data within the RAM. This feature may also be in windows Vista, i don't remember. But there is more information on ASLR on wikipedia.
Yes, you can. But there are some requirements for USB drives. More information you can find here http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2160
You have reintall the OS and use x32 version when you install a fresh copy.
Any VESA-compatible graphics card can be used with Windows Vista, albeit with limited functionality. A DirectX 9 compatible card with at least 128 MB of RAM is required to use the Aero interface.
when you can use windows vista :)
You get a copy of the mspaint.exe file from Windows XP, and move it to your Windows Vista computer.
Use XP if you want speed, though, if you want DX 10 and other features, use vista. And use the x64 versions if you have over 4gb of ram.
