We forget sometimes and think that because we're "wiser" than kids, we know when it's ok to interrupt and when it's not ok. But really, in general, it's not ok for adults to interrupt children. We do it often, but we should be showing more respect than that. Kids deserve as much respect as adults.
Note that this doesn't mean that if a kid is blowing an adult away with a barrage, the adult can't hold up a hand and beg for mercy. Anyone has the right to ask for a chance to breathe.
