It is a practical lesson taught to the Muslims in particular, and all humans in general, that all human beings are equal. Even a King has to put on the similar two untailored sheets of white cloth as does the poorest and commonest Muslim. They are equal in the eyes of Almighty Allah Karim. This lesson should never be forgotton by the Muslims. No one has any right to look down upon some one else on the basis on caste, creed, color or country. Allah Almighty has created us all and loves us all.
Eid Al Adha. The tenth day of the last month of Muslim calendar. Hajj is also performed on the same day.
Hajj promotes equality between everyone who is a Muslim. Everyone no matter what their race, social status, gender or anything can go (as long as they are a Muslim) they all wear the same clothes, so no-one can tell how rich/poor you are, which promotes equality and discourages discrimination!
Yes, Muslim girls or ladies have same obligations as men in all ritual worships including praying, fasting, paying zakat, and hajj (or pilgrimage). However, they are exempted during their menstruation (period) from praying and from holding Quran holy book for reciting. Muslim women during praying should wear the licit clothing per Islam religion. Refer to related questions below.

Hajj (Pilgrimage) The fifth and last Pillar of Islam is the Hajj. It is explicitly stated in the Holy Qur'an that every physically and financially able Muslim should make the Hajj to the Holy City of Makkah once in his or her lifetime. The Hajj is considered the culmination of each Muslim's religious duties and aspiration. Muslims from all over the world seek to make the Hajj to the Holy City of Makkah, which occurs between the eighth and thirteenth days of the last month of the Islamic calendar - Dhu'l-Hijjah - of each year. Muslims travel thousands of miles to reach the Holy City of Makkah for the Hajj and perform the rituals in the same manner as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) almost fourteen centuries ago Hajj (Pilgrimage) The fifth and last Pillar of Islam is the Hajj. This is as good as asking a question to a common man that Why do we EAT? What would one answer then?? The answer would be, we eat to live. Correct. The same is true for this question. A Muslim ceases to be a Muslim if he does not follow the rules of Islam. Hajj is one of the pivotal pillars of Islaam. Can you remain in a company without following the rules and regulations of the company? Indeed you cannot. On the flip side, if we describe the importance of all the rituals of Hajj then this place is too short to explain to whole thing. In a nutshell i would like to say that the whole Ritual of Hajj is the remembrance of the Day of Qayaamat.
Pilgrimage (or Hajj) per Islam teachings is a requirement on every adult Muslim irrelevant ti gender so far he/she can afford performing it physically, financially, and safely. However, there is no explanation that Muslim men performing hajj are usually greater in number than Muslim women the same way you can't explain why the men workforce in any enterprise are greater in number than women workforce.
Rituals for Hajj are the same for all the Muslims.
Because everyone is equal in the eyes of Allah, thus everyone must do the same route during Hajj. That is why only physically strong people partake in Hajj, although they must be mentally strong as well because the spirituality of the event is just as rigourous for everyone
"Pilgrimage" is a word that means the same as hajj, both referring to a journey or trip undertaken for religious purposes, especially to a sacred place.
There is no dress in India that is specifically worn by Muslims; they wear the same traditional and modern clothes as Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Christian Indians. Probably the most common traditional garment that a Muslim man would wear is a DHOTI, but Indian Muslims also wear SARONGS.
I am Canadian. We dress in winter jackets and snow pants. JUSTKIDDING. (: We dress the same way you would in California. :P
