Forest being called a natural habitat depends upon what type of forest you are referring to. forests can be natural or artificial. usually, most of the forests we know are natural. so, in generally speaking, forests can be considered as a natural habitat for many organisms but there are exceptions .According to what i know, many zoological gardens in Singapore and Malaysia are artificial. And anyway, a forest is obviously better for an organism than man-made cages or zoos.
