Why do atoms don't stop?

According to classical physics atoms would only stop moving at 0K, absolute zero. But this temperature is impossible to reach.

According to quantum physics Heisenburg's uncertainty principle says that the momentum and position of a particle cannot both be known exactly. But if atoms stopped moving both would be knowable exactly, so it is impossible for atoms to stop moving.
