The temperature glide occurs when the refrigerant "blend" has "various" temperatures as it evaporates and condenses at a single given pressure.

"Freon 500"? I can't find any references to it anywhere. Check the product again. As for replacing it, you cannot mix or blend refrigerants, and refrigeration systems are designed for one type of refrigerant - substituting another refrigerant cannot be done without conversion.
In a zeotropic blend, the blends boil out at different temperature but at the same pressure. typical example is R704
a blended refrigerant with less than 10F temperature glide, 41oA and 404A are examples.
R-421A is an R22 alternative refrigerant. It is licensed under the Choice brand name ( Choice R-421A). It is a blend of 58%/42% R-125 and R-134a. It is a non-ozone depleting refrigerant, and the only 2-component refrigerant blend to replace R22. For more information, visit www.rmsgas.com.
Frasier uses a proprietary blend consisting of Lavender Rose hips and a bit of Tahitian Vanilla
temperature glide occurs when the refrigerant blend has various temperatures as it evaporates and condenses at a single given pressure.
The manufacturer may not have revealed specifics. Please see the link for the MSDS. It simply says, "Proprietary Cationic Surfactant Blend."
