Because electricity flow through it's wire. Electricity came from outlets source. When you plugged in a device, electricity will flow into two ways. One is directed on a bulb and the other one is cut. Two points of cut wires are put in a switch so if you presses the switch, the other current (whether positive or negative) will generate full electricity that is capable of lighting a light bulb.

Which bulb will glow at first when 3 bulbs are connected in series and switch is connected after 1 bulb?

The bulb that will glow first when 3 bulbs are connected in series and the switch is connected after 1 bulb is the second bulb in the series. The current flows through all the bulbs in a series circuit, but the second bulb experiences the full potential difference first as it is connected directly to the source.

How do you know that house lights are wired?

When you turn the light switch to the up (on) position, if the bulb is not burned out, the light bulb will glow.

Would a bulb glow if you put a rubber as the switch in a circuit?

because rubber is an insulator

What bulbs glow when switch A is closed and switches B and C are open?

What did you do to make light bulbs glow dimmer?

To make light bulbs glow dimmer, I reduced the amount of electricity flowing to them by using a dimmer switch or a lower wattage bulb. This decrease in electricity causes the filament in the bulb to emit less light, resulting in a dimmer glow.

What describes electricity flowing from a battery though a switch to a light bulb?

Circuit Electrons flow form the positive end of the battery through the wire connecting the positive terminal to a switch. The other end of the switch is connected to one terminal on the bulb, the other terminal of the bulb is connected to the negative end of the battery. No electrons (current) flows as long as the switch is open. Once the switch is closed and if the battery has enough voltage and current capacity to make the filament in the bulb glow, then the bulb emits light (together with wasted heat). If the switch is open, no current flows through the entire circuit and the bulb does not glow.

Three different bulbs are connected in series when switch is closed the last bulb does not glow why?

When bulbs are connected in a series circuit, each bulb depends on the voltage from the previous bulb to light up. If the last bulb doesn't glow, it may indicate that there is a break in the circuit somewhere before that bulb, such as a loose connection or a blown fuse. This interruption in the circuit would prevent the flow of electricity to the last bulb, causing it not to light up.

Can a tomato glow when connected to a light bulb?

No, a tomato cannot glow when connected to a light bulb. Tomatoes do not have the ability to produce light on their own, so they cannot glow like a light bulb.

What components do you need to make a simple series circuit to light on bulb?

Will bulb glow in milk?

No, a light bulb will not glow if placed in milk. Milk is not a conductor of electricity, so it will not allow the flow of current needed to power the light bulb.
