have hair balls because they clean themselved a lot and to get that out of ther systems thay cough it up
My cat must. I Google this because I thought I saw a thick, dark hair on the inside of his nose as I was cleaning it (he has orange and white fur). As I thought the hair may be from the other cat, I googled this question. After reading the first answer, I pulled the hair with tweezers. My cat was very displeased with this and the hair would not come out. He is about 5 and a half years old and weighs around 12 pounds. Not sure if any of these factors contribute to nose hair.

NO they lick cats
put water on it or lick it yourself You don't want to lick it yourself because you could get sick and don't just pour water on their nose they will drown! Put a tiny, tiny, drop on there. Usually if the nose is dry and the cat cannot get it wet by itself and the nose is hot, the cat is sick and you should take it to the vet.
Some people have many reasons, but the reason i have tried that works is that cats are attracted to the scent and taste of your earwax. if you need to try, get some earwax on your finger and hold it up to the cats nose.
they are actually licking their nose and if they don't lick their nose then they are sick
Yes, cats can still lick themselves after being neutered.

NO, The chemicals inside sun cream may make the cat ave a BAD rash as some cats are allergic and the breeders dont tell you what cats are allergic too as they can not in anyway find out so cats could have an allergic reaction and get a rash or they could lick the sun cream of their nose and then get poorly and be sick. Why would you want to put sun cream on a cats nose anyway they wont burn their skin is protectable!
