Cats usually sleep most of the day and are awake at night time. They are now using all that energy they stored up all day while sleeping.
An average cat sleeps about 18 hours a day, the other hours are spent going wild and having fun.
Cats may wake up meowing at night due to various reasons such as seeking attention, hunger, feeling anxious or stressed, or wanting to play. It is important to observe your cat's behavior and consult with a veterinarian to address any underlying issues.
No
Cats may bite to wake you up because they are seeking attention, hungry, or want to play. It could also be a natural instinct to communicate their needs or to establish dominance.

They sleep in at night and wake up in the morning.
because your body needs to wake up and move!
Possible two answers... 1.) You have a routine that you keep, you may not even notice it. However your cats notice it, and will keep you too it, even if its a weekend and you want to sleep in. If you wake up at 6am every morning and feed them, they get used to it and will demand it from you. 2.) I find my cats are more active right before dawn. Its when they start racing around, play fighting and getting into trouble. Its why they are no longer welcome in our bedroom at night. They would pounce on you wanting to play at 4am. So not cool ;) Your cats may have the same behaviors (:
Cats, Dogs, coyotes, owls.
