Chameleons move with their legs. Their feet however are like clamps. They dont have multiple toes they have 2 clamp like toes that work almost on a hinge and they use these to grab on to tree branches, vines and other things in their habitat. They wont walk around flat footed though. So you will always find them hanging on to something
Human eyes are continously moving. With chameleons, they need to be 100% aware of their surroundings all the time. The muscles around their eyes help them see over 150 frames a second. This is an excellent adaptation because chameleons are always watching out for predators and especially prey. Their eyes also allow them to see of 270 degrees around them. They are one of the few animals the can move one eye and move the other in an opposite direction and see two different images at one time.
chameleons move their heads so that they make sure that no one is following them.
Chameleons have four legs for movement. They move around slowly, so they can make sure they can hear predators and protect themselves from them.
Chameleons do not have three eyes. The chameleon has two eyes each on the side of its head. Each eye operates independantly but produces one picture unlike other animals that produce two pictures for two eyes. So in conclusion chameleons have only two eyes but operate to a great exstent.
it depends on the chameleon some can be 2 feet and others can be 3 cm so it really depends on the chameleon
Likely so. It has a great variation in colors. A possible rival would be the Lesser Chameleon (of Madagascar).
The crayfish's eyes can move and most of the time , it is to protect the eyes so it moves into a "case".
Centipedes has eyes on both ways, at the front and at the back. so they can see both ways, backwards and forwards.
No they only have 2 eyes. They can move their heads all the way around so...yah.
No. For example Plants don't have eyes and they live.
our eyes are attracted to the object so it follows it. example: have you ever stared at something while riding in a car and stared at it and couldn't keep your eyes off of it?
