Most people with ADHD, including children, suffer from some type of sleep disorder or experience higher than average difficulty in falling asleep. This may due to the fact of the lack of control of attention, causing a person with ADHD to have a hard time 'shutting' off their thoughts to be able to sleep.

Because there is something in his/her life that is stressful and probably needs to think about more before going to bed. The pillow or the matress could be the problem. Or you could have a song stuck in your head that you can't get out. Try making sure you have an hour away from the computer or iPod before going to bed. TV is still ok. But if you still have trouble sleeping with no computer and ipod but TV then you would have to try being away from the TV at least an hour before you go to sleep.

Children with ADHD actually can focus. ADHD impairs the ability to control focus; all individuals with ADHD have both activities in which they can barely focus, and other activities they can engage with abnormal hyperfocus. The reason why ADHD impairs the ability to control focus isn't completely understood, but is believed to be rooted in lack of neurotransmitters that contribute to executive functions. Executive functions help control planning, focus, and motivation to complete tasks. These functions are impaired in individuals with ADHD.

This depends if you have ADHD or not. If you do have ADHD, it will calm you down, and it will be prescribed to you. If you do not have ADHD it will make you hyper, jittery, nervous, and sometimes a bit scary. It will NOT be prescribed if you don't have ADHD. In any case, you will stop eating or sleeping, and easily become addicted to it.
