Best Answer

They don't, christians believe Jesus is the son of God.

Symbolically all humans are sons of God as they have been created by God.

Why does God have only one son?

Why was a son born to Him after he had already sent many Prophets?

Was Virgin Mary (May God be pleased with her) of the kind-flesh and blood- as God is?

Has God died like Virgin Mary (May God be pleased with her)?

There arise many questions like these the answer to which is baffling.

There is no agreement between all Christians on this topic:

  • Trinitarian Christians believe in a three part god so all share equally in the title
  • Unitarian Christians believe in one god, what the Trinitarians would call 'God the Father'
  • Periodic missives from some churches disavow the divinity of Jesus
  • Secular or culture Christians may not have a position on this issue.
