Christians pray together for unity. Psalm 133 says that unity commands a blessing. Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 that where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is among them. It is also good and positive peer pressure. It's easier to pray when others are helping to hold you up. We're a team.
Muslims prefer to pray together instead of individually because of what a hadith, or saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), says about praying in congregation. The hadith goes:
"The Prophet said, "The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center, because if one performs ablution and does it perfectly, and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for each step which he takes towards the mosque, Allah upgrades him a degree in reward and (forgives) crosses out one sin till he enters the mosque."
More reward is offered in a congregational prayer than over an individual prayer, which is why many Muslims prefer congregation over individual prayer.
because they like to be at one with each other, it is fun for them. Bit like a tea party.
Christians can pray anywhere, anytime.
Christians, pray and eat together as a family. They give thanks for the meal, and then open presents.
Christians sing carols and hyms towards God and they also put their hands together during prayer time
Many, but not all, Christians pray daily.
Christians do not pray to anything that faces Jerusalem.
Christians can pray anywhere because God will always hear us, Christians also pray at church though :)
Christians don't pray to stones.
It's what we were made to do, but don't forget that christians aren't the only faith to pray.
If they are of the same religion such as let's say if they were Christians they would get together and pray and that would give them a much stronger bond.
Christians do not pray as much as they (we) should. Paul tells us to pray constantly. Too many times we only pray when we feel we need something.
they pray in churches or well anywhere! god and Jesus will be there too:)
Some in Christianity have set times to pray together, ie...morning prayers and evening prayers. Others pray as they desire as prayer is talking with God and we are to ask Him for all our needs.
