∙ 15y agobecause all the smells are on the dog dumbo Some dogs will roll in things when they are outside such as cow manure, dead animals etc. They think it smells great. Of course you probably don't agree when the dog comes in the house!

∙ 15y agomaybe it's not that trained enough to go outside and 'go to the bathroom'. in some cases, like cats for an example, if they go in a certain part of the house (besides the litterbox) like in the corner of your living room, they get used to the smell there and continue going there.

∙ 14y agoDogs smell after being out side because when they scent a new or different smell they want to get that smell on their fur so they role around in it and the stench clings to their fur. But a bath once every 1-2 weeks should help relive the smell.
