Any hamster is ok with being handled once they're used to it. You have to tame them when they are young. And dwarf hamsters are best for keeping in pairs. Not Syrian hamsters because they will fight. Hope this helps!

Hamsters arnt used to noise so when your around a hamster make sure a baby or yourself arnt sreaming or shouting because the hamster will become stressed and annoyyed and wil try to run away and escape and you would not want that to happen because you might not acctually see your hamster again which will be upsetting for you.
When hamsters roll in the wheel it makes a noise, but only a very quiet one. If the hamster bumps into things ( which happens a lot ) it makes loud noises. If noise bothers you, hamster wheels on stands are available.
Loud noise is not a good description. If its a loud squeal turn the air conditioner or defroster off. If the squeals goes away the compressor or the clutch for the air conditioner compressor is locked up.

well, they may be a Little noisy at night because that's when there most active. but all the noise usually is the squeaky wheel, gnawing on the cage, and running around. Ive had 4 hamsters, they made some noise at night but they never woke me up. (there not that loud, don't worry). :)
