Actually, 99% of cattle producers DO NOT inbreed their cattle. Inbreeding causes a decrease in growth and productivity of offspring, which leads to lower income and profits when these calves are sold. Producers to the EXACT OPPOSITE when they rely on selling calves for profit: they crossbreed their females with a totally different breed of bull[s] to get hybrid vigour and calves that tip the scales at the salebarn.
Farmers want their cattle to produce high quality meat and a high milk yield
None. Cattle farmers (or ranchers) do not operate within the forest itself. They raise their cows outside of the forest where the grass grows...which is where their herd of cattle eat the grass.

farmers
Many farmers in Arkansas raise cattle, but I wouldn't say that "Arkansas" either is 'a' cattle farm or 'cattle farm(s)'. :)
Cattle don't need to be watched, unlike sheep and chickens do. Cattle can look after themselves enough that the farmer doesn't need to watch them all that often. Other things on the farm or ranch can be attended to, like haying, fixing fence, doing repairs on machinery, etc. The only "Cattle" Farmers are called Dairy Farmers and they are either milking, feeding, breeding, or doctoring the Dairy Cattle, usually when you speak of cattle it is beef cattle.
It isn't, actually. A lot of "cattle rearing" is done by small farmers too. Although it could depend on what type of cattle you're referring to: beef or dairy.
Ranchers wanted to use the land to graze their cattle on and make money off of their cattle, whereas the farmers wanted to use that same land to grow their crops. Farmers didn't like (and they still don't) cattle free-ranging across their fields, and a bit of friction was caused between ranchers with their free-ranging cattle and the farmers who just wanted to plant a few plots of wheat for their families.
Farmers
Other cattlemen or butchers. There are no Cattle Farmers, they are called Cattle Ranchers, Farmers work the land for planting crops. Cattle are sold two ways, at a sale barn or by ranch sale. The sale barn have sales on weekly sales open to the public, ranch sales are held a ranch usually once a year and mostly by invitation, these cattle usually are registered breeds. Cattle sold at a sale barn may make several trips across the country before they make it to the meat market.
