that is because from the time u r a babyy u keep growing and finally become mature this maturity is due to the ovoules. when these ovoules become mature they break open through the follicle tube and come out, that makes us mature coz that's our female gamete which is the most important part of our female reproductive system and so when we grow up and get married or have any sexual contact, it fuses with a sperm to get fertilized into a zygote. which eventually turns into forming a baby!
