NO!!! We breath in two gases, viz. oxygen and nitrogen, but we don't smell them. Two other gases we don't smell. carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is poisonous to humans , but we don't smell it. Gases we do smell. ammonia, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, chlorine, hydrogen sulphide. There are many more gases that do or do not smell . The above list is not exhaustive.
