Not all gay men insist on being friends with their exes, but those that do seem to be more effeminate and prefer them as a girlfriend or a best friend. They are fighting the fact they are gay and not suited for the opposite sex. If both parties are gay, then it is no different that heterosexual's having a relationship, splitting up and some exes prefer to be friends (one may disagree.) They can't quite let go of the good times they once had and not ready to move on.

being Bi like being straight or gay isn't a choice, and your friends are your friends not because of who they have sex with, tell her that you're still friends and you're there for her no matter what her sexuality, wether she's just questioning her sexuality (which is normal and every one does) bisexual(again normal) or gay (a lot of gay people come out as Bi before coming out as gay) you should be her friend and there for her to talk about these issues.
You can have close male friends without being gay, just like anyone can have close friends of the same gender. I have many male friends who I am not sexually attracted to.

You might. Without being able to see into the future, it's impossible to say.
