Your GIF is most likely not moving because it is too large for Tumblr. Tumblr GIFs have to be under 500mb or else they won't move. To remedy this problem you can try resizing your GIF to a smaller size!

On the top of your dashboard there is icons, click the one that says 'photo'. it then says upload photo, click it, choose the gif that you want that you have saved onto your computer and then click 'create post'. Then you're done. It won't work if you go over a certain limit. I hope that helped. xx
When you upload a gif to Tumblr they show up as working but once they post it doesnt?
It's probably because it has too many GBs. It happened to me once where one of my gifs were 2.6 GB and it froze when I posted it. what you have to do is maybe make the gif a bit smaller and delete some of it's frames till the memory is less than 1 GB. Then it should work fine :) .
