goldfish have something in them called a swim bladder that expands when they want to go up and inflates when they want to go down but no matter if they float up or down they have to paddle with there fins to move.
The movement of a goldfish has been described often as dancing by some. Others find it to look rather like an awkward waddle. A more descriptive statement would be that a goldfish moves itself via the pectoral and caudle fin(s) much like a snake- with a jerk to one side and another to the other to get to where it wants to go. It uses an air-filled organ called the swimbladder to control it bouyancy and to move up and down.
A goldfish moves its tail the same way that you move your feet; it has muscles, etc.
Because they want to!
because they like to swim in circles
1230-1270 miles per hour
What else would you expect them to swim in? Of course Goldfish swim in water.
i have no clue what you are talking about Yes you can play with goldfish but what the heck you can also eat them.. eat them and you will gain immortality, you will be able to swim fast and breathe underwater...
No
A damaged swim bladder.
because they are fish
NO. Unless there in ranch
=How fast does a squid swim?==they can swim really fast=
Anywhere :)
Freshwater
sometimes if there in the mood
Swim, Eat, Swim, Eat, Poop, Swim, Eat,Poop....
No it would not. Although you want to make sure that you are feeding your fish regularly, it will not harm a goldfish to fast for a day as this is something that is commonly done if a goldfish is having buoyancy problems due to a swim bladder issue (along with additional treatment)
