If you have two male guinea pigs and they're crawling over each other, the one that's doing it the most just wants to be the boss. I have two male guinea pigs called Zacc and Codey, Codey is always the one that wants to be the boss.
Guinea pigs stand on each other because they are trying to mate. My 2 guinea pigs are brothers and are trying to mate together its natural, they should stop standing on each other in a few weeks if not go to the vets and they might need an injection to stop them just incase something did happen.
Hope that helped :)
probably trying to mate....yes even if they are both boys they will still try
because they are ready for having a baby because they are having sex but they do it differently to us
The snuggle against each other because that's how they feel safe
they might be cold.
No they will not. I have 2 boy guinea pigs that hate each other. They will only like each other if they were from the same litter.
yes, they do. they love to be with other guinea pigs. they love to play or lay down with each other.
Yes! They will hurt each other badly. Some guinea pigs have fought so bad they have killed each other.
No - they are herbivores and won't eat so much as a fly.
so they learn how to use guinea pig communication
They are not used to sharing. It is a good idea to buy a separate cage and put them next to each other and then they will know that they wanted to play with each other. Guinea Pigs will get used to the other Guinea pig if you leave it in the cage a little.
The website linked below has recordings of the sounds guinea pigs make and tells what emotion each sound is expressing.
It's mostly male guinea pigs that are likely to attack each other because males are more aggressive toward each other. Guinea pigs don't have to be related and they sill don't fight. I have many piggies and none of them fight. Other then that guinea pigs are really cute, friendly, and cuddy animals.
It's a good idea to put the two guinea pigs in separate cages so that they can see each other. This is so they can get used to each other and will prevent fighting and stress when they are put together.
they do not get along because both guinea pigs want to be dominant of each other so they will eventually fight and most likely hurt each other, sometimes very bad.
they do not i have a pet guinea pig and for one they are not long enough and some are just to fat!
Guinea pigs squeal a lot!! As long as you see they are not fighting or biting each other, you have happy piggies.
