Peole lie in general to get what they want., whatever that is at the moment.
Men give love for sex and women give sex for love.
Not all men love for sex, it hurts some men just as bad as it hurts most women cause not all women are like that either.
People lie for numerous reasons. for convenience (financial gains), needing to be needed, feeling obligated to reciprocate love given to them, they don't know how to say no and often a false perception of love. Some people don't want to be alone and others simply desire intimacy.

∙ 14y ago- At the beginning people often feel they are in love with that person and some are, but many find as the months or years go by the chemistry is gone between them. The definition of the word 'love' cannot be explained. People can be fickle, but be certain this person once loved you. Sometimes people just don't know what they want. Don't let this stop you from trusting someone else you may attracted too as most humans go through one or two lost loves in their lifetime.

∙ 10y agoA person can be embarrassed about there feelings if its the first time they have fallen in love .And some times people lie so the don't hurt the feelings of some one they love.Or they may lie because they don't wanna know everyone else's opinion on their partner so they tend to lie about have they love someone.
