Five reasons:

1. His finger is longer and more flexible than his toes; and

2. Fingers generally don't get athlete's foot. You never heard of athlete's hand did you?

3. Boys' tongues are usually not long enough or stiff enough to get up inside.

4. He is trying to clean out the pieces of bread stick that accidentally broke up in there.

Some ladies, like me for instance, have a thing for feet and prefer the toes. I also try to find guys with very long, strong tongues.
