horses fight for dominance, in their herd, they always want to be the leaders, and some times they fight each other for the right to rule their herd. If your horse doesn't respect you, then they may even fight you for dominance, which is never a good thing.

Some horses bite for fun, some horses bites gently to tell you something is wrong, some horses nips on your hands, or body to smell you clearly. But the most dangerous bites are the ones from the wild, they might not mean to hurt you but they are scared and don't know what to do at the same time so they bite you and run away.
