It just means that your flow is coming out heavy. Blood has a product called fibrinogen in it and that dissolves clots. If the flow is heavy then fibrinogen doesn't have enough time to act on the blood which makes it clot. However if you are experiencing very heavy clots you should contact your gynecologist.
The lining of your uterus is changing and that means it's also pieces of it.
It's natural and nothing to worry about. When blood gets out of your veins, it clots. If it didn't the bleeding would not stop. Bruises and blood blisters are blood clots under the skin. If the blood comes out from your skin it gets really dry and forms a scab. Period blood remains in wet lumps inside you until it comes out. That's all normal and good.
Maybe you hear about blood clots being bad, but that's because they're INSIDE the veins, so they can stick in your heart or brain.
well when i was like 12 , my period was hard and my vagina was hurting. When i went to the restroom i threw down a big blob of blood or something like that. I started to feel kind of better when that happened. I told my mom what that was. She told me that it was like dry or blood that wasn't use full. So i thought that all that pain was because it was stuck and was pushing to get out. I hope i helped with that problem!!
Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining, the 'clots' you see are just larger pieces of the uterine lining. Menstrual flow doesn't clot like normal blood, if it did it'd prevent menstruation.
Most likely it was just the lining being shed from your uterus during your period. Women dont just shed the blood during our periods, we shed the lining too. Its totally normal.
What are those big dark red blood clots that come down on your period
It's the uterine lining that didn't break up. Your body has to work extra hard to get rid of it and you get cramps.

They are from bigger asteroids. Two big asteroids crash into each other and little pieces come off the big asteroids.

The Notorious B.I.G.- BIG POPPA
Because it was way too big. There was no big boat to transport the whole thing in one crate.
The bulk of your menstrual flow is the uterus lining - mostly this sheds as individual cells so mixed amongst the blood it cannot be seen, but during heavier flow you may also notice larger pieces of uterus lining that has been shed. Some people refer to these larger pieces of uterus lining as 'clots' or compare them to pieces of raw liver. There is of course blood too, this is similar to the blood that you would see if you cut yourself only menstrual blood doesn't clot like normal blood. As the blood passes out of your cervix it mixes with cervical mucus so you may notice big gooey lumps of blood, and along with that as it exits your vagina it will also carry along with it vaginal discharge.
rock made up of big pieces cemented together (sedimentary-pieces, conglomerate-big pieces)
it depends on how big the pieces are if the pieces are 2x2 there are three pieces
the reason for the different colors is it is "identifying" the usually one of the first and is cleaning out everything
The answer depends on how small (or big) the pieces of paper are!
you have a big period because every 14 days a baby is ready to be fertilised but if it isn't all the blood that has been ready to look after your baby is not needed so it all comes out sometimes big sometimes small.
Clots during pregnancy is usually a indication of a miscarriage. Brown bleeding is usually old blood which isn't a normal period.
