It depends on the app. Some apps require constant use of Wi-Fi, and others are intense graphic games, which require a lot of energy to display.
Just download a lot of apps. There's not much more to it than buying a lot of apps and putting them all on the iPod Touch.
because there are a lot more ipod touch apps than the regular ipod games and apple doesnt make all the apps but they have to put more effort into the ipod games than the ipod touch/iphone apps.

Hi there Yes the ipad has quite a lot of apps available in the iTunes App Store. Many original iPod Touch/iPhone apps are also compatible with the iPad.
The apps for the iPod Touch range in price from free to relatively expensive. For some example apps see the link below and scroll down. Clicking the View in iTunes link will show the price of the app. A lot of good apps cost money, but most are only like a buck and you can get some really awesome free apps.
an Ipod touch is worht it becasue the apps range from free to 300$ and that's for only amazing apps Almost all apps are either free or $1-$2. The only ones that are expensive are the apps where you buy a whole season of a TV show or something big like that. So NO ON AVERAGE, THEY ARE NOT EXPENSIVE.
