Best Answer

every fish and bird has a streamlined body so that they can cut through the force of water and air respectively.

if fish don't have streamlined body they will not be able to move through the water.buoyancy means when a body replaces the weight of water and u get an upthrust that means the water pushes u up so that u don't sink.that's why fishes need buoyancy so that they can float/swim.

i hope this helped u.i don't know the proper definition of buoyancy but the meaning i gave u is right.

Is gravity needed for buoyancy?

Gravity is needed for buoyancy as if there was no gravity then there would be no need for buoyancy, the need for buoyancy is to counteract the pull of gravity so you can stay at the surface of a liquid such as water. If there was no gravity then there would be no need to counteract it. I hope this the answer you needed.
