Not too many public schools have uniforms.
In Iowa, school uniform policies vary by district and individual schools. While some private and charter schools may require uniforms, public schools typically do not have mandatory uniform policies. The number of schools that require school uniforms varies significantly by country and region. In the United States, estimates suggest that about 20-25% of public schools have uniform policies, while in many private and parochial schools, uniforms are more common. Globally, countries like the UK have a high prevalence of school uniforms, with a majority of state-funded schools requiring them. Overall, the specific number can fluctuate based on local policies and cultural practices.
