Men !
On average more women work out of their home as compared to men. This statistic is changing though, as many women are choosing to commute to work and men are staying at home. For more info please see http://www.makingworkathomework.com/2009/04/making-work-at-home-work-blog-tour.html
Okay so some similarities are that men and women could both stay home and take care of a family and that they both took care of a farm. Some differences are that men could vote and women couldn't, men could be elected president and women couldn't, lastly men could work in factories and women had to stay home and take care of the family by cleaning and cooking.
women began to say that the work they did in the home with their families was just as important as the work men performed in their jobs and women ought to be respected for their work at home.

Yes, the men work in factories and the women stay at home with the kids
Well usually all the men were off at war, so the women stayed home and cared for the children and did house work. The women also sent homemade blankets and food over to the men. The few men who weren't off fighting usually ran stores, worked in mines, or some even stayed home and cared for a farm.
Yes of course Men and Women both go out to farm.
The difference between men and women were that the men did a lot more work than the women at certain points of the year. The women did more home jobs.
Women often did the same work as men, however they also cared for children. A farm wife sewed clothing, made candles, and cooked and preserved food.
