Not all scientist believe this, because some scientist can think and know that the chances of the beauty of the design we see in the world all around us, wither man made or of nature, is absolutely impossible.

They are more chances that a Rolls-Royce on any showroom floor came from the back of a cement mixer full of all the right parts, than there are that a "single-celled ancestor" evolved into the complex world around us.

Because there is ample evidence that life evolved from simpler organisms into more complex ones. Naturally, the progression had to start somewhere - the point where something "living", if simple, came from something non-living. Something complex like a fish or a frog would not spontaneously come into being all at once, so it seems much more likely that the first organisms were simple, single-celled organisms that later evolved into increasingly complex organisms like plants, worms, insects, and creationists.

It's actually, "because cells only come from pre-existing cells". NOT "because they believe in chemical evolution". (:

Why don't some people agree with the Theory of Evolution?

Because they have a different idea of how the world came to be. The choose the Biblical explanation: about the creation of earth 6 days. They find it hard to believe that we evolved from single cell organisms and evolved for billions of years. Maybe because they don't know better

How does science say that human life began?

AnswerScience believes that all life started in a chemical reaction in the ocean, which produced the earliest form of life, most likely some type of bacteria. That bacteria began to evolve throughout the years, creating many different types of sea creatures. Some of those began to evolve to land animals. Those land animals eventually evolved to monkeys/apes, and those monkeys/apes evolved into humans. This all occurred in a span of hundreds of millions of years.AnswerMainstream science believes life began possibly hundreds of millions of years ago by a chance single chemical reaction ... and that enormous diversity evolved from there - much as described above. Scientists promoting this theory present their findings and the evidence that supports this notion. However, there are also hundreds of thousands of scientists who do not believe this was necessarily the foundational process in the formation of life. Among them, many scientists say that nothing has been found in the evidence that actually refutes the processes as defined in the Bible. Among these scientists, there are also a very many, whose voices are rarely heard, who have extensive evidence that, they believe, supports the Biblical account.Unlike most other objective scientific data and their associated theories, which can be tested by experiment, neither view regarding our beginnings can undergo such a process, neither is unequivocably proven via the findings in the earth: each is able to view what is found via his own interpretation of them. In this sense, it is therefore, left to each individual human to decide what he is going to believe about the beginnings of life.

Why was the discovery of microspheres and coacervates an important contribution to the understanding of how life might have originated on Earth?

They are both fairly related to cells and scientists believe it fills a "gap" in time where we transition into cellular organisms.

What evidence do we have of evolution?

Evidence of common descent of living organisms has been discovered by scientists researching in a variety of disciplines over many decades, demonstrating that all life on Earth comes from a single ancestor.

How long have paramecium been on earth?

Paramecium are single-celled organisms that were first discovered in the 17th century. Scientists believe paramecium have been around since the Earth was formed.

Do scientists know how DNA evolved?

In the theory of how life began, scientists have theorized that DNA evolved through natural selection. The challenge remains to develop a theory to explain how RNA developed from the primordial soup which scientists believe constituted the Earth's surface 3.8 billion years ago. Did evolution start in space, in oceans, salt pans, volcanic exhalatives or in underground cavities?

Where did seeds come from after the earth cooled down?

plants with seeds evolved from simpler plants which evolved from single celled organisms
