Over the years of working in the medical field, I have seen those nurses that have taken Physics in high school or college come to the aid of those that skipped this important science, especially when working with radiological, electrical, magnetic, or other technical issues. Too bad some students are looking for the easiest way to get into a School of Nursing, which has as low an admission requirements as possible! If you can not understand the basic concepts in Physics, then you should look for a career which does not use this important part of modern nursing. Of course there are sections which require deep thought...welcome to life in the real world. There is nothing worse than a nurse that is unable to perform significant problem solving, and they are observing the data on a complex machine that is plugged into a patient that is between life and death.
