Hebrews 11:1
They were generally Catholic, some Muslim, and Jewish.
Faith is something personal, something you feel inside your self. By definition, faith means to believe that something exists without any proof. You cannot explain that. If you could explain faith, then it would not be faith... In the same way that a mathematician believes that pi (3,14159...) or the square root of 2 exists (i.e. he has faith that it exists without being able to write down on paper all of its digits...), some people believe that a supernatural being exists. In the same way that a scientist has faith and believes that logic can answer everything, some people believe God exists.
Not all Scientists are unbelievers. But some people can not take it on faith alone that there is a God.
It is all a question of faith. Some people gain comfort in their faith (of any religion) that there is an afterlife. Others believe differently, and believe that there is no life after death. It is up to each individual to make their own choice.
The faith and wisdom in the gods/goddess also some people do not believe this but some of them died of war.
Little is known about Charity and her sisters Faith and Hope or mother Sophia. Some sources believe that these people may have never existed and were only characters in a story told as an allegory.
According to my faith, Christianity, and the Jewish faith, there is only One God. God the Father, creator of all things. There are many people that have lived before and some that live now that think they are god or a god but my religion tells me that there is only one God. That is what I believe.
Some synonyms for believe include trust, have faith in, and be convinced of.
because some people don't believe in God and Jesus.
Some people are simply old-fashioned in their thinking.
Only on some planes. People believe it is unlucky
"Faith" usually means something like, believe, even without sufficient evidence. This is most definitely NOT a good way to find the truth, since you can use the same faith to believe ANYTHING.However, some "faith" (i.e., confidence) in yourself may help you solve certain problems.
